The pump is designed to equalize the pressure and the volume of water in the domestic water pipes (showers and taps) so that, for example, there is no pressure drop or temperature shock effect when opening the taps at the same time or at different times in the same shower circuit (multiple showers in the same domestic water circuit). If there are temperature fluctuations (cold or hot flash) or pressure changes in the domestic water circuit, it is necessary to add a booster pump to this circuit.
